Baraboo was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  an  8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McFarland Spartans. The Thunderbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won  6-3.

  Zeva Valley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and two  runs. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Stella Cognac, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run.
Baraboo now  has a losing record of 5-6. As for McFarland, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baraboo will welcome Portage  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so the Thunderbirds' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for McFarland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against River Valley  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
