 Meanwhile, Mortimer Jordan had to endure  a  five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Woodlawn with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  28-14.
  Micah Gatson had a dynamite game for Mortimer Jordan, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. The dominant performance gave  Gatson a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 The  win  got Fort Payne back to even at 2-2. As for Mortimer Jordan, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-4.
