Marais des Cygnes Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Traver, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Traver is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Corey Criss, who scored 7 points along with 17 rebounds and 5 blocks.
Southern Coffey County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Marais des Cygnes Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Coffey County will take on Olpe on Tuesday. Olpe is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. Marais des Cygnes Valley is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Burlingame at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
