Pana scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neoga Indians. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joey Laker, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Brooke Cox, who earned 13 points.

Pana's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Neoga, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

Pana and Neoga could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Pana (ranked 327th) will meet Staunton (ranked 77th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Neoga will square off against St. Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 332 places (406 vs. 74).
