The North Central Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central. North Central has struggled against Central recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Jordyn Griffin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds for Central. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Griffin. Another player making a difference was Taisha Quick, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
North Central will head out on the road to face off against York Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lewisville at 6:00 p.m. on December 13th. Lewisville's defense has only allowed 17.3 points per game this season, so Central's offense will have their work cut out for Central.
