Softball Recap: Edwards Extends Winning Streak to Three

J.Z. George typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Edwards proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Jaguars 19-17. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Neveah Davis was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Deb Bush, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Edwards was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .462 or higher in four consecutive games.

Edwards' victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for J.Z. George, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 12-3 record.

Edwards has already played their next contest, an 18-13 win against O'Bannon on the 7th. As for J.Z. George, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 26-10 loss against Riverside on the 7th.
