The Nixa Eagles's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lebanon Yellowjackets at 11:00 a.m. on December 27th. Lebanon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Nixa, who comes in off a win.
Even though Grain Valley scored an imposing 58 points on Thursday, Nixa still came out on top. Nixa walked away with a 69-58 victory over Grain Valley. Given Nixa's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Grain Valley is ranked 72nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Lebanon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 55-28 defeat at the hands of Branson. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lebanon has scored all season.
Bodie Cox was Lebanon's leading scorer, having posted ten points.
Faith Coffman held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Nixa's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lebanon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
