Payson picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 61-4 win over the Odyssey Institute Minotaur. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 27 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Hannah Sarnowski, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten steals. Those ten steals gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cheyenne McLellan, who posted seven points and seven steals.

Payson was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Odyssey Institute only posted one assist.

The victory made it two in a row for Payson and bumps their season record up to 10-2. As for Odyssey Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Payson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-28 win against Glendale Prep Academy on the 3rd. As for Odyssey Institute, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-11 defeat against Horizon Honors on the 3rd.
