Baseball Recap: Skyline Wins Going Away Against Bountiful

With a playoff win on the line, Skyline rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Bountiful RedHawks 18-11. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Skyline got a massive performance out of Abe Wilson, who got on base in all six of his plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. The dominant performance also gave Wilson a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Nico Wharton, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with four runs and one RBI.

Skyline kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Skyline now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Bountiful, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

As of now, neither Skyline nor the RedHawks have any future games scheduled.
