It's always hard to lose, and it's even harder to lose by a single point. Just ask Pleasantville, the unfortunate recipient of a 12-13 defeat at the hands of Colfax-Mingo on Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team. The game brought Colfax-Mingo to 4-1 and dropped Pleasantville to a mirror-image 1-4.
Next week Pleasantville take on Pella Christian at 7:00 PM. As for Colfax-Mingo, they will face off against Interstate 35. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.
