Fans got a thrill when Stephen Barmore and Alex Jamele connected against Manchester. The connection went for 66 yards, the longest such play in Central Connecticut I West this season.
Hall's Javone Bellamy recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Glastonbury last week. Bellamy ran for 66 yards on the play and finished with 97 on the day as his team fell to the Tomahawks.
Southington's dynamic duo of Barmore and Jamele proved tough for the Indians to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Barmore threw for 323 yards and 5 touchdowns and Jamele had 188 yards receiving. Jasen Rose helped Southington's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 101 yards.
The Blue Knights' dynamic duo of Barmore and Jamele proved to be unstoppable against Manchester, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Barmore put up the best numbers in passing as Southington beat the Indians.
He was 21-27 with 0 interception.

Brad Helmkamp was the best running back in Central Connecticut I West this week. In 23 carries, he ran for 181 yards as Simsbury defeated the Indians. James Hermsen also contributed to the rushing game with 33 yards on the ground.
The Blue Knights' Barmore and Jamele have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Barmore has thrown for 419 yards this season, while Jamele, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 12 catches for 241 yards. The Trojans' Helmkamp leads the league in rushing yards with 364.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Southington takes on Simsbury. As it stands, the Blue Knights are in first, while Jeff Osborne's team is in fourth.
Conard scaled the state rankings by moving to 81 from 107 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Chieftains climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Newington 20-13.
