The Osawatomie Trojans had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Prairie View 68-37 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Osawatomie also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Tucker Fennel was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joseph Mitzner, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Osawatomie's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Prairie View, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Osawatomie will face off against Jayhawk Linn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie View, they will head out on the road to face off against Pleasanton on Thursday.
