Burke County were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They blew past Cross Creek 41-7. That result was just more of the same for Burke County, who also won the last time these teams played.
The victory bumped Burke County's record up to 5-2. The loss dropped Cross Creek's record to 3-4.
Burke County will take on Academy of Richmond County at home at 7:30 PM next week. Academy of Richmond County took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Burke County's good fortune. Cross Creek will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Thomson at CROSS CREEK STADIUM in two weeks at 7:30 PM.
