University waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Los Angeles CES Unicorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

While University won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.

University's record is now 24-11-1. As for Los Angeles CES, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

University and Los Angeles CES will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the court they'll take on Harvard-Westlake at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Los Angeles CES, their break will end when they face Palisades at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st.
