Shalom Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Addison Adams, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Madison Moretti, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Goretti's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Shalom Christian Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.
Goretti will face off against Berlin Brothersvalley at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Berlin Brothersvalley will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Shalom Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Life Christian at 5:15 p.m. on January 12th. New Life Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
