There's no place like home for the Chamblee Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past North Atlanta with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 75-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Chamblee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ramon McDaniel, Jr., who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. McDaniel, Jr. is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Eli Starr, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Chamblee's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for North Atlanta, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Chamblee will head out on the road to square off against Arabia Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Atlanta, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Pius X Catholic at 7:30 p.m. St. Pius X Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully North Atlanta likes a good challenge.
