After two weeks on the road, First Baptist Academy is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Halifax Academy at 7:30 PM. First Baptist Academy are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

After a dominant victory in their contest two weeks ago, First Baptist Academy were humbled last Thursday. They came up short against Cardinal Mooney, falling 27-39. Despite the defeat, First Baptist Academy saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Brady Dean passed for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with ten tackles Edie was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, Halifax Academy put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 50-6 win over Citrus Park Christian. With Halifax Academy ahead 36-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Halifax Academy's win lifted them to 5-3 while First Baptist Academy's loss dropped them down to 3-4. We'll find out if Halifax Academy can add another positive mark to their record or if First Baptist Academy can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Halifax Academy's step.
