Bishop Noland Episcopal Day took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Faith Training Christian Academy on Tuesday. It was the first time this season that Bishop Noland Episcopal Day let down their fans at home.
Bishop Noland Episcopal Day lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson LeBlanc, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Charlie Kuehn, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks.
Bishop Noland Episcopal Day's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3. As for Faith Training Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day will challenge First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. First Baptist Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is ranked 94th). As for Faith Training Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Brighton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
