Holmes had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Albemarle School Colts with a sharp 8-2 victory. Considering Holmes have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Albemarle School from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ayden Furlough led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Holmes' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Albemarle School, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Holmes will square off against Northeastern at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Albemarle School, they will face off against Perquimans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
