Meanwhile, Argos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 57-45 to Jimtown. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Jimmies are ranked 132nd).
Elkhart Christian Academy will have to contain Zhayne Hellums as he made an impact in Argos' last game. He went 9-for-13 on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Elkhart Christian Academy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 22 boards per game. However, it's not like Argos struggles in that department as they've been averaging 20.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Elkhart Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Argos in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, but they still walked away with a 54-50 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
