The Preston Indians''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by Snake River 21-20. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Preston was the better team in the second half.
Karson Winder was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns. Winder definitely has the trust of the coaching staff as he's now carried the ball at least 25 times in the last three games he's played.
Preston's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Snake River, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Preston will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Pocatello at 8:15 p.m. on October 27th. Pocatello presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Preston in Idaho (Pocatello is ranked eighth, while Preston is ranked 40th). As for Snake River, they will stay at home for another week and welcome Wood River at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
