Forestview is 2-8 against Stuart W. Cramer since May of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Storm at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Forestview took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Huss a 15-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jaguars needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Camden Tarbush made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Forestview is 6-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-13 otherwise. Tarbush was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Forestview got a big performance out of Owen Kelly, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The Jaguars are undefeated when Kelly posts two or more runs, but 3-14 otherwise. David Magennis was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Forestview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Stuart W. Cramer made easy work of East Gaston on Monday and carried off a 14-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.
Kingston Womack spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kenan Helton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aydan Bradley, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Forestview's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5.
Forestview suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Stuart W. Cramer when the teams last played on April 6th. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
