Uplift waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They escaped with a win against the Alcott Wildcats by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Uplift to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Williams, who posted 20 points. Tysean Davis was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Uplift pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Alcott, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uplift will host Rickover Naval at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alcott, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Alcott Wildcats duke it out with the Chicago Sullivan Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chicago Sullivan has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 228 points over their last three matches.
