Taylor Allderdice has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Carrick Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, Taylor Allderdice blew past Perry Traditional Academy, posting a 87-33 victory on the road. Given Taylor Allderdice's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while Perry Traditional Academy is ranked 670th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Logan Golle was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with six assists and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Azerick Jetter, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Carrick scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Westinghouse 83-49 at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Carrick as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Taylor Allderdice is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Carrick, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
