The Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 86-69 victory over Specially Fit Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jordan Christian Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Reyes-Montanez, who scored 26 points. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Osasjoshua, who scored 22 points.
Jordan Christian Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Specially Fit Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan Christian Prep will take on Downey Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Downey Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Specially Fit Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bell Creek Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
