Avilika Arana made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sydney Vail, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Meeya Abaoag, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI.
