Pontiac and Chicago Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Pontiac had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Araceli Serna and Izzy Hinz certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Serna had 15 digs and three assists, while Hinz had 11 digs.

Pontiac's defeat dropped their record down to 29-9. As for Chicago Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-10 record this season.

Pontiac does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chicago Christian, they will square off against Riverdale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
