Two dominant guards in Caiden Jenkins and Isaiah Green are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Rolesville Rams will head out to square off against the Knightdale Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Rolesville strolled past Wake Forest with points to spare, taking the game 72-53. The Rams pushed the score to 56-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

Jayvon Chestnut went supernova for Rolesville, going 5-for-6 to rack up 16 points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Chestnut a new career-high in field goal percentage (83%). Another player making a difference was Anthony Roberts, Jr, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 14 points.
Rolesville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Knightdale came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 71-44 win over the Wildcats.
Knightdale's win came from a few key players Rolesville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jamari Williams, who posted 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Adams, who went 5-for-12 en route to 17 points and six boards.
Knightdale's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points over those games. As for Rolesville, their record now sits at 11-13.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Rolesville and Knightdale are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Rolesville hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 63.5 points per game. However, it's not like Knightdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 57.7 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Rolesville came up short against Knightdale when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 69-59. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Green, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 19 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds. Now that Rolesville knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
