Basketball Recap: Ethan Bass' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Aucilla Christian over Liberty County

Aucilla Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Bass, who posted 15 points. Bass' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Faglie, who had eight points and six rebounds.

Liberty County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kashon Chambers, who went 11 of 15 on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds. Chambers is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Micheal Glisson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 assists.

Aucilla Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Liberty County, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Aucilla Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-50 defeat against Branford on the 10th. As for Liberty County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-34 victory against Altha on the 13th.
