Walsh Jesuit has gone a perfect 3-0 against Boardman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 5:15 p.m. Walsh Jesuit will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Monday, Walsh Jesuit got the win against Ursuline by a conclusive 13-2. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Boardman faced Riverside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Spartans fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 3-2. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Addie Rudge made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Walsh Jesuit pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 8.5 runs thus far. As for Boardman, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.

Walsh Jesuit took their win against Boardman in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
