Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Sheehan Titans walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Whippets 33-0 on the road. Considering Sheehan has won seven matchups by more than 28 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sheehan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brady Rossacci led the charge by rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Rossacci definitely has the trust of the coaching staff as he's now carried the ball at least 25 times in the last four games he's played. Dante Dinuzzo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Sheehan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Windham, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Sheehan is on the road again on Sunday and play against Joel Barlow at 12:30 p.m. on December 3rd. Joel Barlow will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Windham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
