Milford hasn't had much luck against Delta recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Milford will head out on the road to square off against Delta at 3:30 p.m. Milford will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Milford's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over Monticello. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Milford got a massive performance out of Hadley Griffiths, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave Griffiths a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kloee Dotson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Milford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Delta, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Juab with a sharp 9-2 win on Tuesday. The Rabbits not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024.
Danica Rowlette spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on 12 hits and racked up eight Ks. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joslyn Christiansen, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Jaylie Taylor was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Milford pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Delta, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
Delta's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Milford has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .554. It's a different story for Delta, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain Milford's hitters?
Milford took their win against Delta in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 19-7. Does Milford have another victory up their sleeve, or will Delta turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
