Everything went their way against Franklin Road Academy as Christ Presbyterian Academy made off with a 37-16 win. Christ Presbyterian Academy is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 11 straight.
Braden Streeter threw for 66 yards on three of nine attempts. Jackson Mathews was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards. On the ground, Crews Law rushed for 85 yards on only 11 carries.
Christ Presbyterian Academy's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points per game. As for Franklin Road Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ Presbyterian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Boyd-Buchanan on November 30th. Boyd-Buchanan will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Franklin Road Academy will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week.
