After flying high against Northeastern Clinton  last Thursday, Saranac Lake came back down to earth. The Saranac Lake Red Storm fell  3-1 to the Saranac Spartans on Monday.  Even though they lost, Saranac Lake  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 13  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 11  aces in four consecutive  matches.
 Saranac Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Saranac,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saranac Lake will head out to  square off against Northern Adirondack  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Saranac, they are taking a road trip to  take on Beekmantown  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
