Miami Valley is 2-8 against Legacy Christian Academy since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Miami Valley Rams have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Legacy Christian Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Miami Valley beat National Trail by the very same score they won with last week: 57-46.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up nine more assists than your opponent, a fact Legacy Christian Academy proved on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-41 victory over Twin Valley South. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Legacy Christian Academy.
Legacy Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Jacob Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Parker Burke, who scored 10 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-2.
Miami Valley came up short against Legacy Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January, falling 42-34. Can Miami Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
