This season hasn't been kind to the Granada Islamic School Eagles, who are still winless after their fifth match. They were outmatched by Khan Lab on the road and fell 64-23. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Granada Islamic School of the 56-34 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.
Leading Khan Lab to victory were Haaris Chema and Charlie Kunz. Chema dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Kunz scored 15 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chema has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Matthias Fallon, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Granada Islamic School's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.0 points per game. As for Khan Lab, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
Granada Islamic School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Khan Lab will head out on the road to take on the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
