The UIC College Prep Firecats were the 50-44 winner over the DRW College Prep Cheetahs when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. UIC College Prep fell 58-51 to DRW College Prep on Monday. UIC College Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
UIC College Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adam Matthews, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Coleman , who scored 15 points.
UIC College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for DRW College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. UIC College Prep is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Rickover Naval at 4:30 p.m. on November 29th. As for DRW College Prep, they will take on Harlan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
