Sheehan lost to Hillhouse 42-2 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brandon Gauthier was a bright spot for the Titans, as he caught 7 passes for 97 yards in the loss.
Foran led Southern Connecticut Division II - East in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Lyman Hall. Jake Kasuba threw for 347 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 18 yards during the win.
He went 19-23 with 1 interception.
Cole Pecora was the best running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 209 yards as North Haven topped the Trojans. Thomas Gallagher also contributed to the rushing game with 78 yards on the ground.
5-foot-8 quarterback Kasuba of Foran is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,889. He has also thrown 19 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Gauthier. The Sheehan star has 40 catches for 623 yards.
Going into this week's game against the Academics, Jeff Bevino's team's Kasuba needs 111 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
The Lions made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,515 from 4,831. The improvement was the result of a 54-18 victory over Lyman Hall last week.
