Sadie Fitch was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played.

In other batting news, Kaitlin Pettine was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Kenney, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Methacton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perkiomen Valley struck out 11 times.
