Meanwhile, Gila Ridge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They fell just short of Desert Ridge by a score of 2-1.
San Luis pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 3.6 goals per game. As for Gila Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
