Lake County won the last time they met up with South Fulton, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Lake County put a hurting on South Fulton to the tune of 67-22. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Lake County are ranked far ahead of South Fulton in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Lake County's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 61 points in the first half. South Fulton countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 61-6 going into the half. Lake County were outperformed in the second half 6-16 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The matchup pushed South Fulton down to 1-6 and pulled Lake County up to the reverse at 6-1.
Next week Lake County take on West Carroll at 7:00 PM. As for South Fulton, they will face off against Humboldt.
