Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Gregori

Gregori entered their tilt with Modesto on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 back in March.

Arabella Port looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Audrey Pacheco was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. Kaliyah Mauia was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Gregori always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Modesto only posted an OBP of .263.

Gregori's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Modesto, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Gregori will be taking part in a tournament against Destiny Christian Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Modesto, they will challenge Johansen at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.57 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
