Bryce Owens posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Owens and Red Bluff will be playing at home against Enterprise at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
