Basketball Recap: Corner Canyon Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Corner Canyon had won three straight games and Noah Bendinger did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Corner Canyon Chargers strolled past the Riverton Silverwolves with points to spare, taking the game 76-62 thanks to Bendinger, who went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 18 points.

Dillon Roberts was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Riverton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Blake Robbins, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryker Kerekes, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 19 points.

Corner Canyon's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Riverton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Corner Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-72 victory against Bingham on the 14th. As for Riverton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 69-46 defeat against Herriman on the 14th.
