The Everett Seagulls waltzed into their game Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Lynnwood at home to the tune of 59-32. That 59-32 margin sets a new team best for Everett this season.
Isaiah White was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 28 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Everett's points. Another player making a difference was Ty Bloomfield, who scored 11 points.
Everett has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Lynnwood, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everett will challenge Edmonds-Woodway at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Edmonds-Woodway knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Everett likes a good challenge. As for Lynnwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
