Trinity waltzed into their match  on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Spaulding Red Raiders 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won seven contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
Trinity's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-3. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Spaulding, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1.
