Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette]). They managed a 64-60 win over the Westhope/Newburg Sioux on Monday.

Westhope/Newburg lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Macy Bryans, who went 7 of 17 on her way to 19 points along with seven boards and three steals. Bryans is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Laken Lee, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.

North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette]'s victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Westhope/Newburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Drayton/Valley-Edinburg at 7:00 p.m. on February 3, 2025. As for Westhope/Newburg, they will square off against Surrey at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Surrey is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season.
