The Roosevelt Eagles won the last time they faced the Lockney Longhorns, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Roosevelt enjoyed a cozy 66-51 win over Lockney. The win made it back-to-back wins for Roosevelt.
When it comes to explaining why Lockney lost, one person who can't be blamed is Haygen Lefevre. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Jimenez, who scored 9 points.
The win got Roosevelt back to even at 3-3. As for Lockney, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Roosevelt will face off against Life Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Life Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. As for Lockney, they will head out on the road to face off against Crosbyton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
