St. Albans is 9-1 against Bullis since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. St. Albans will be playing in front of their home fans against Bullis at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (St. Albans has three straight victories, Bullis has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
While St. Albans' win against Lake Braddock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Bruins 6-5 on Wednesday. Six seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Jack Guerin made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other pitching news, Jacob Romhilt looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Logan An, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
St. Albans kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matches.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Bullis took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Albans.
St. Albans pushed their record up to 18-13 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Bullis, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
St. Albans was able to grind out a solid victory over Bullis when the teams last played on Tuesday, winning 6-3. Will St. Albans repeat their success, or does Bullis has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
