Having just played yesterday, the Central Blue Devils will jump right back in to play the St. Frances Academy Panthers at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
Central pushed their score all the way to 58, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Lake Minneola by a score of 61-58.
The losing side was boosted by Faith Fedd-Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dyshana Austin, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, St. Frances Academy's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They took down Franklin 49-31.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for St. Frances Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
